Each October, the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) - the Alexandria Animal Shelter - holds Paws in the Park at Oronoco Bay Park in Old Town Alexandria. PITP is AWLA's biggest community and fundraising event. This year was another smashing success made possible by AWLA staff and volunteers, business sponsors, and the Alexandria Community.
