With my leadership and as a passion project for me, the KW United Alexandria/Kingstowne brokerage office is working with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) throughout the year to help animals in need. AWLA runs the Alexandria Animal Shelter located at 4101 Eisenhower Ave.
Our first event with AWLA is a Community Donation Event on Friday, October 27th, 4-7pm at the outdoor patio at my Brokerage office (5971 Kingstowne Village Parkway, Suite 110 in Alexandria). Check out Event details at KWUnitedAlexandria.com/events.

AWLA will be present with information on donating and volunteering. They will also have adoptable animals to love on.

AWLA welcomes most new or gently used pet supplies. Check out the AWLA Amazon Wishlist & Chewy Wishlist) for their consistent needs.
Drop off a donation or you can donate at the event via the Amazon Wishlist QR code. You can also purchase raffle tickets for sponsor-donated items, with all raffle ticket proceeds going to AWLA. Raffle drawings are at 5pm, 5:45pm, & 6:30pm.
Bring your (well-behaved) leased pet for a photograph or a portrait from the pet photographer and local artist, Alexandria Schmeling. Defintely check out her pet portraits and paintings of Old Town, DC, and beyond.
We will also have animal- and hooman-related vendors, live music, a face painter for children, & Halloween candy, cider, and hot Chocolate.
